About Jace
Expert Analysis
Michael Campanile | Prep Lacrosse Scout
For programs still searching for a true difference-maker at LSM, few fit the mold better than Jace LiVigni. He plays with an active stick and uses it in a variety of ways to disrupt opposing offenses—mixing in precise lifts, pokes, and timely checks. He’s also elite on ground balls, routinely coming away with possessions in traffic. Near the goal line, LiVigni plays with more strength and physicality than his frame suggests, holding his own against bigger matchups.
In transition, he’s confident with the ball in his stick, making smart reads and pushing tempo with poise. He even showcased his offensive touch at the IL ID Experience, burying a smooth shot to the upper-left corner in stride. With his combination of stickwork, speed, and control, LiVigni profiles as one of the more complete uncommitted LSMs in the 2027 class.

Quite frankly, I did not see a close defender pick up more groundballs in a game all summer than LiVigni in a Friday contest at the NLF Championships. He also routinely snags balls out of the air, a testament to his instincts and stick skills as well as his lacrosse IQ, which is off-the-charts. LiVigni is fundamentally sound in every sense: each approach is on-point and his stick is always in the right position. Primarily playing longstick middie in the spring, he’s all over the gloves and stays right on the hip looking to play sound position defense or cause disruption with a precise check. LiVigni is incredibly steady across the board and will be a hot commodity for the Ivies and other high academics.
