eclipsing over 100 points for the year has been a big boost for the Bulldogs offense and overall morale. Caldwell was lighting up the scoreboard in the three games played, totaling 13 goals and a pair of assists, with his dodging ability from X and the ability to use either hand, proving to be lethal to defend, finishing with 5 goals in the title game that turned out to be a nail-biting 9-7 win. Most recently, Caldwell connected on his 100th goal of the season in a 10-9 win vs. West Morris on 5/19, falling nine goals short of that mark just a season ago, but the Washington & Lee-bound attackman has his eyes set on on the state title after losing in the semifinals last year. The Bulldogs have the #1 seed in the North Jersey, Group 2 bracket, facing Ocean Township (7-8) in the first round on May 29th.

earned US Lacrosse All-American (NJ-Central) in 2024. Luke scored 91 goals & tallied 57 assists good for 148 points on the year. Caldwell finished second in the state for total points. He is the All-Time leading point scorer in school history. This electrifying playmaker does most of his damage behind the goal. Luke can get to his spots with either hand and bury the ball. Caldwell can dodge using iso moves or be effective setting picks big to big. Luke will hold defenders accountable in the two-man game. Verbally committed to Washington & Lee.

Caldwell was a bright spot in the first round of playoffs against a West Coast Starz squad that ended up eliminating Leading Edge. He had two goals and two assists while attacking the defense in a variety of ways. He is a team player who is always dodging with his head up and surveying the field, but coming off a dodge he can also drop the hammer if the defense is lacking. The Washington and Lee commit has a good change of direction when dodging from X and has shown patience and will re-dodge if he likes his matchup. He can use either hand interchangeably when shooting and can put the ball in good spots with fakes or deception around the goal crease. Caldwell is also a tough player and will put his body on the line if it means helping his team or increasing his angle to get off a shot. He also added one goal in the win vs. the Crabs.
