About Luca
Expert Analysis
Eric Bretz | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Frisco had a great day in cage for the Raiders, notching 13 saves and playing a big role in Ramapo’s early lead. He was facing an extremely talented group of Laker shooters and turned them away time and again. He displayed his athleticism on multiple off-stick saves and covered a good amount of the cage with his large 6’3″ frame. The 2Way product stood tall in net, communicating well to a group of high-level defenders at his disposal and showcasing his quick hands and maturity, staying calm under pressure in tight and being quick to get the ball up and out for a transition chance the other way. With Frisco being so young, it will be a lot of fun to watch him develop and grow throughout his high school career.

Luca Frisco is a 6’3” left-handed goalie who brings elite-level shot-stopping ability and all the traits of a high-end collegiate prospect. His ranginess, fast-twitch reactions, and excellent hands allow him to make difficult saves look routine, anchoring the defense with confidence and poise. Frisco is also lethal in the clear, pushing transition with sharp decision-making and an advanced understanding of tempo. The game moves slowly for him, enabling him to consistently make the right choices and finish possessions with control. As the vocal leader of the defense, he quarterbacks the unit with authority, constantly communicating, directing traffic, and raising the play of everyone around him. Luca’s size, presence, and command of the game make him one of the premier goalies in the 2028 class.
