O’Shaughnessy bumped back into the 2029 class after posting 33 goals and 35 assists as a Northwest Catholic (Conn.) freshman, and from what I gather, he showed well with Loomis and Hilltop this fall. Everything he does is fast: the crafty lefty is an assertive dodger with a penchant for making his man miss due to exceptional COD and body control, showcasing a wide array of moves once he wins his matchup. O’Shaughnessy is incredibly explosive out of his rollback and has to be respected as a shooter, as he consistently scores from range and sweeps back to the middle of the field. With his athleticism and energetic playing style, he’s relentless in the riding game as well. Cracking the Pelicans’ lineup as a freshman may be a tall task, but his skill set is that of a player who could be a problem for opponents for years to come.
