had a number of difficult stops for Palo Verde to help them grab their second state title in a row. He made himself big when he needed to and was blocking shots with both his body and his stick. He also used his awareness and instincts to send out precise passes on clears. All in all, it was a strong final game from the 2026 keeper. And I’ve always been a fan of the energy that he brings to the table for his team.

made some notable saves in the LVLA Championship. He was seeing the ball well, and his defense was putting pressure on dodgers. He also got big when he needed to and found his middies when it was time to clear. It was great to see him chase down missed shots and strategically assist in ground ball situations.

has been very consistent in the goal for the Palo Panthers recently, helping them go undefeated against LVLA competition. He has been seeing the ball well and does a great job of anticipating where shooters are trying to place the rock. He’s also always ready to clear it and knows exactly where to look post-save. His reliable, high-IQ play are attributes that set him apart. From what I’ve seen this season, he continues to develop. And he still needs a place to call home next year if college coaches are in need of a steady goaltender with plenty of experience.

came up big time for the Palo Verde Panthers in their win over Faith Lutheran. He was all over shots from both close range and long range. Frustrating the Crusaders offense, and making it tough for them to get in rhythm. He also kept his troops in order throughout the contest, and the defensive unit looked great overall. Play like that will surely have Palo Verde as a legitimate contender once it’s the playoffs.

had a lot to do with the Panthers grabbing the win, especially thanks to his play in the second half, when he made a number of difficult saves. A few of which happened right on the doorstep. But Aragon utilized his reaction time and made the stops. In addition to his saves, he made smart decisions with the ball when clearing.

I recently covered Aragon after his stellar performance against Westward. He’s incredibly composed in the cage, never getting too high or too low. Which allows him to stay locked in and ready for the next save. That focus, combined with his clean mechanics, makes him a rock-solid last line of defense. Aragon is also an excellent passer and is helps keep his troops in order on defense. If you’re a college coach and you haven’t checked out his film yet, you absolutely should.

Jose Aragon was a brick wall for the Vegas Starz. He stood his ground and stuffed a bunch of Westward’s shots. He was also communicating with his defense and he made smart outlet passes that helped the Starz get up field in a hurry. Look for him to make even more noise this winter.

, proved to be one of the better netminders in Nevada this past spring. He is the type of goalie who will give 110% effort to make a save. He’ll also make a kick save or two if that’s what it takes. Fighting off boucers is another one of his strong suits and he clamps the ball immediately if it’s down in the dirt.

Aragon had an incredible game yesterday. He got big when he needed to, and ate a few shots using his legs and body. Although he may have a few bruises today, I’m sure it was all worth it. Look for the junior to have a big summer, as he seems to be playing with a lot of confidence.
