A dynamic playmaker who always puts himself in the position to be at the end of plays, Kumin has a scorer’s touch, especially from the left-handed wing. He shoots the heck out of the ball for someone his size, and between his multitude of different release points and impeccable deception, goalies have a hard time getting a read on his shots. Kumin’s feet are always moving off-ball to maximize his scoring opportunities, and as a carrier, he’s adept at sending skip across the field or finding his man wide open on the doorstep with feeds from below GLE. Having already pieced together a strong body of work on the club and showcase circuit, Kumin will be back for another year on varsity at Nobles, which already has a Princeton-bound lefty at attack. That being said, I’d be shocked if he’s not seeing significant minutes by the middle of the season.
