Riches is an electric offensive prospect with next level speed, a non-stop motor and filthy stick skills. His explosive first step and ability to cut on a dime made Riches impossible to defend 1v1. Riches played with extreme pace but was never out of control. Once Riches had blown past the initial defender, he kicked it into high gear and got to the cage in a flash. His elite stick skills enabled Riches to execute creative finishes in close. He also got downhill, then slammed on the breaks and ripped from 8-to-10 yards out. Riches kept defenders and goalies off balance with his ability to distribute on the run. College coaches will love the high IQ and patience Riches displayed in the offensive end. This summer Riches also showed that he was willing to sprint back on defense and play SSDM at a respectable level.
