He finished with 12 total saves, 4 groundballs, & a 1.1 goals against average in relief efforts as a sophomore. He comes from an incredible pipeline of goalies in which talent levels are similar despite a difference in style. Ian is an extremely valuable specialty position player with legitimate talent. He is recognized as a brilliant ball-stopper who is smart in the cage. Stefanowicz is locked in & does not get rattled easily. He routinely makes all the saves coaches expect & some you don’t. If he can help Valor Christian capture another State title or two before graduation look for his stock to rise even more so as an established veteran. A consensus 3-star prospect.
