is a standout defender at Charlotte Catholic who will be a Team Captain for the 2025 season! Up to this point, he has been mostly utilized as a long-stick midfielder. Gio is an aggressive athlete known as a sure stick handler with the ball. As a leader on the defense, he will most likely be asked to grow into a close spot & help hold it down because of graduation or other eligibility issues. Delissio is rock solid in coverage & will benefit from being on the field for the entirety of the game. He has fast feet & will throw a variety of nice checks, helping him cause turnovers. Gio can run the field with the ball, dodge over the midfield line, & score! He is a well-rounded pole who takes good angles on the wings & is an effective trail checker hawking down the break. Delissio has fluid hips & can match feet behind the goal. He keeps good positioning running the rails & getting his hands on the hips! Gio is sturdy on the double & can move quickly on the perimeter man-down. He is physically strong with a nice frame to build on in a college weight room or program. Look for Delissio to elevate his play at the NCAA level & further if he decides to explore International lacrosse. Verbally committed to Detroit Mercy.
