Also a QB & DB in football, Foster is an extraordinarily athletic close defender with a high motor and an active stick. That trifecta enabled Foster to be a disruptive force on defense in June and July. From the Radar Invitational to Trilogy 24 to the NXT Invitational, Foster was a menacing on-ball presence. His speed, polished footwork, and ability to apply constant pressure on the hands of ball carriers created a truckload of turnovers. Off-ball, Foster’s high IQ and anticipation skills produced timely slides and double teams. Some of those slides and double teams came with a healthy dose of physicality. Foster’s imposing size skills and aggressive stick allowed him to vacuum up ground balls in traffic. Once the ball was in his stick, Foster swiftly carried the ball up field or executed a smart clearing pass. When Foster cleared the ball himself, he often generated transition scoring chances.
