Chapa is staying in the region and transferring to Midwest powerhouse Western Reserve. He has face-off roots and ability, but I was really impressed with how he played as an SSDM this summer. He checked all the boxes you look for in a quality SSDM. His feet looked great against quick change-of-direction dodgers, and he has the hard jams and crowbar moves to be disruptive. I also liked his ability to push transition and how he plays off the wings on face-offs. The most impressive part of his game is how he moves in the clear and the way he secures groundballs. At the New Balance Games, he had several plays that showed his natural movement to escape pressure.
