earned US Lacrosse All-American (FL-South) scoring 142 points with 97 goals & 45 assists for the St. Andrew’s Scots in 2024. As a freshman (2023), Faison earned US Lacrosse All-American (FL-South Atlantic) at Pine Crest playing alongside his older brother. Dylan competes with a rare swagger & is a superb athlete. He uses size, speed, & strength to get leverage firing off high-percentage shots. Faison is a productive off-ball finisher as well as a creator. He makes the highlight play look routine with an acrobatic finish or a behind-the-back assist. Dylan is a pin-point accurate shooter who shows the ability to finish with either hand from up top as a midfielder or behind the goal as an attacker. Faison is a top player in the country & #1 overall player candidate in his class. He is a consensus five-star prospect. Verbally committed to Notre Dame.

On a completely different level from his peers with his athleticism, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a high school player toy with defenses like Faison. There are times when he scores after his third or fourth move. I had him down for seven goals and two assists plus four goals in the All-Star Game, and just about every one of his goals was pretty. With the ball in his stick, he floats to the point that it almost looks effortless. Back in March, Faison committed to play football at Notre Dame, where he’ll also play lacrosse.

I have yet to see a Class of 2026 prospect as unguardable as Faison has proven to be in my early stages of evaluating the class. Leave a shortstick on him at your peril, but if you do, the likelihood of the ball winding up in the back of the net is rather high. Utilizing an unmatched first step, Dylan was a terror to keep up with scored at will off the dodge, routinely blowing by the slide and darting around the offensive zone with superb body control. He’s got excellent hands, too, and gets shots off in a hurry from a plethora of release points, putting on a show throughout the event and capping things off with a four-goal showing in the All-Star Game.
His older brother, Jordan, came to Notre Dame as a Top 50 player in his class and a two-star football recruit before going on to score three touchdowns during the regular season of his freshman year. Dylan is just as dynamic athletically but bigger than Jordan was at this stage and further along with his skill set, and we’re talking about a kid who was ranked 33rd in his class as a rising junior.
