is a colossal athlete who was only able to play in 7 Varsity games this past spring due to an overlap with his Basketball season. He is arguably the tallest person to ever step on a Lacrosse field. Dominic is the epitome of length & range with the ability to extend out on the perimeter. He is a tremendous defender who can build a wall on the backside, pick off passes, scoop up ground balls, & make plays in transition. Perfetti is a versatile weapon with a background playing short-stick as well. He is an assertive ball carrier with polished handles & smooth stickwork. Dominic has a good sense of team defense with the ability to throw checks & keep his feet moving. He is an elegant takeaway artist as he can go over the head with ease & throw kayak checks while running full speed. It is not uncommon to see him running the field assisting teammates or calling his shot. Perfetti is an extremely unique player because he can guard the ball anywhere on the field with a pole as well as initiate in an offensive set with a short stick. A consensus top-100 player in the 2026 class & 4-star prospect. Verbally committed to Syracuse.

The more I watch him, the more Perfetti has grown on me. Part of that is how new he is to the position, as the SoCal native was formerly a midfielder and is just over a year into playing the position. With his 6’8, 215-pound size and prowess on the basketball court (for a team ranked nationally in the Top 25), his profile and upside most closely resemble Cole Kastner. Due to the overlap between the hoops and lacrosse seasons, Perfetti only played in seven games this spring, but it’s clear how much confidence he’s gaining with increased reps with a pole in his hands. As one might imagine, he has strong defensive principles and outstanding footwork. He isn’t afraid to lay the body, and on more than one occasion, caught an opposing attackman slipping and got him on a nasty over-the-head check. I’ll be intrigued to see where he winds up at the next level.
