is a clutch scorer for Westfield. He scored 4 goals total against Ridgewood in the state semi-finals helping his team win 10-9 in overtime! 2 of Colin’s 4 goals tied the game & another was the eventual game-winner. He is quick like lightning wrapping it around the goalie off the left crease tangent for an easy dunk. He finishes with authority & no fear in front of the cage. Colin shows confidence from up top where he can launch a missile with his feet set or on the run. Coyle looks to be the leader on offense & shows his LAX-IQ with a timely outburst of offense. He is a consistent playmaker who uses shifty steps & athleticism to beat you with a variety of maneuvers to free his hands. Coyle surpassed the 100 career points benchmark as a junior in 2024. Verbally committed to Umass.

Coyle is the unquestioned leader of the offense for 3D Garden State. He did a nice job working against his 1-on-1 matchups and used his superior stick skills to be able to evade checks. He has a sneaky quick burst of speed coming from X on a dodge or coming off a screen. That helps him get a step on his defender and create offense, which he does so well. I wasn’t able to catch every game he played, but I had him down for 7 goals and 4 assists in the three games I saw (hat trick in the first game of the tournament). He recorded 2 goals and 3 assists in the championship game.

A great complement to Lam’s skill set on the other side, Coyle finished with two goals and three assists. Whether he’s dodging from X or the right side, he does so with his head up looking for cutters, which is what I like most about his game. But when he has the opportunity, the UMass commit can step down and let it rip. He uses his frame well and has a physical style of play that you’d want from an attackman. Coyle has nine goals while leading the Blue Devils with 14 assists so far this year.
