About Beck

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

I think my biggest strength is being a physical and aggressive defender. I like taking on the other team’s best offensive players and I’m comfortable defending out away from the goal. I also like getting ground balls and pushing transition when I get the opportunity.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on becoming a more complete defenseman, especially my footwork, communication and being more disciplined with my stick. I also want to keep getting stronger.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a competitive program with coaches who will push me and help me develop as a player and a person.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I’m pretty easy going, and get along with just about everybody. I like being around my teammates and having fun, but I also know when it’s time to work. My family and my faith are important to me.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I haven’t decided
