Ohio Wesleyan landed an absolute steal when the multi-skilled Ruiz committed to the Battling Bishops program. During the Committed Combine, Ruiz’s stick skills, field vision, and creativity produced numerous jaw-dropping dimes. His high IQ and unselfish nature were key to Ruiz’s dynamic passing game. When Ruiz wasn’t handing out assists, he proved he could initiate dodges from both attack and midfield. His ability to easily cook the initial defender and then charge towards the net placed opposing defenses under constant pressure. Ruiz also impressed with his hustle and tenacity on the ride.
