Neally is an athletic and fleet footed midfielder who displayed a versatile skill set at Summer Cup. He got downhill from up top as well as the wing and forced opposing defenders to slide early. When that happened, Neally used his field vision and stick skills to drop dimes on teammates. Neally threaded several creative passes through tight windows. On other dodges, Neally cooked his defender, eluded the slide, and then ripped a shot into the net. Neally’s cut-on-a-dime moves enabled him change direction several times on his runs to the net. His habit of pushing the rock in transition or after coming out of the box, applied constant pressure to opposing defenses.
