The first item that popped about Frey was that he appeared longer than his listed height of 6-feet. When you combine that length with the fast hands and quick reflexes Frey displayed this fall, you get a standout goalie who college coaches should put on their recruiting board right now. That trifecta of assets enabled Frey to cover the top of the cage with ease. Frey also showcased impressive agility and flexibility as he repeatedly turned aways low shot attempts too. His incredible ability to track shooters through traffic produced a high percentage of clean saves. Once the ball was in Frey’s stick, he swiftly delivered precise clearing passes. College coaches will love the way Frey constantly communicated with the defenders in front of him.
