Parrott recently committed to Utah and the Utes have landed a long, well-built offensive prospect who owns serious shake. Parrott’s combination of size, speed, foot work and stick skills presents major matchup problems for opposing defenses. His quick burst and downhill speed are too much for lumbering poles to handle. Meanwhile, Parrott’s size and ability to bull his way past the initial defender renders SSDMs helpless against him. Once he gotten past the initial defender, Parrott can rip on net or use his field vision to distribute to an open teammate. The Utah coaching staff will love Parrott’s creative finishes around the crease and the fact that he can score with either hand. Parrot owns a wicked outside shot that he will cut loose from GLE or the wing. He is especially adept a firing a bouncer past opposing goalies. When he rotates to X-attack, Parrott can come around the corner for a goal or feed cutters. This athletic 2027 has flashed the ability to run at midfield too.
