Max gets a remarkable lift on his shot from the left wing & can mix in a fundamental overhand shot that changes levels with velocity. He is a sharp left-handed attacker who can float over the top of the midfield for a step down. Ripple shows an uncanny ability to finish with guys on his back drawing the dead ball foul that is valuable for extra-man offense. He is always presenting a target with the stick by his ear, demanding the ball inside for a quick-stick finish! Max is evasive in tight, typically avoiding contact & frustrating lost defenders. He can dodge a short stick aggressively in the invert, showcasing the ability to feed in the lower left quadrant or turn the corner with his right. Ripple is tough on the ride, especially box side where he holds his ground rather than playing a sub-game. He picks off passes & scoops up ground balls forcing the defense to scramble in uneven situations.
