It was a special day for the lefty attackman headed to Pace next fall. Baldino has had an incredible start to his senior year, and in the biggest game of the young season, he stepped up by scoring six times and adding four helpers in the huge victory over Shoreham. His vision was very impressive, as he found Matt McIntee for both of his goals in the first half. He won the battle for the ground ball at the end line before looking up and throwing a quick pass to an open McIntee. He then found him with a beautiful cross-field skip pass over the defense to allow McIntee to hammer a time and room shot. A couple of his goals came by finishing around the crease, but he also showed off his dodging ability. Baldino made his defender pay after he attempted to press out, resulting in a top-shelf snipe. He has quietly been one of the top attackmen in Suffolk County this season.
