Baldino has had an incredible start to his senior year, and in the biggest game of the young season, he stepped up by scoring six times and adding four helpers in the huge victory over Shoreham. His vision was very impressive, as he found Matt McIntee for both of his goals in the first half. He won the battle for the ground ball at the end line before looking up and throwing a quick pass to an open McIntee. He then found him with a beautiful cross-field skip pass over the defense to allow McIntee to hammer a time and room shot. A couple of his goals came by finishing around the crease, but he also showed off his dodging ability. Baldino made his defender pay after he attempted to press out, resulting in a top-shelf snipe. He has quietly been one of the top attackmen in Suffolk County this season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["14847"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The do-it-all midfielder had an outstanding game, tallying two goals and four assists in the win. His goals were both time and room rockets where he changed planes. It's his initial dodge from up top that creates so much for this offense. McIntee's pure speed allows him to blow by LSMs and draw slides. He proved to be a great decision-maker with his four assists. On defense, whenever he was assigned to Duke-bound 5-star [player_tooltip player_id='14821' first='Liam' last='Kershis'], he did a solid job denying him the ball and matching his footwork when he could. McIntee also impacted the game on the wing as well, picking up ground balls and pushing the pace.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["23417"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"The freshman continues to have a lot of success at the varsity level, having racked up more than 20 points as an eighth-grader a year ago. Hannigan always seems to find himself in the right spot to make a play. In the big tilt against Shoreham, he finished with two goals and two assists. He can see the field very well, making quick passes to his teammates that resulted in goals. On the man-up, Hannigan played the low righty spot. He hauled in a skip pass and finished high for one of his tallies. His other goal came when he sprinted behind his defender for a catch and finish in transition.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["23420"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"In such a high-scoring game, it felt like it was hard to put a goalie on this list. However, Walendowski's timely saves were crucial to the Redmen's victory, not to mention he only allowed two goals in the entire second half. One of the most athletic goalkeepers on Long Island, the Villanova-bound junior has made some highlight reel saves this season and it continued against the Wildcats. He had an incredible doorstep save to keep the game tied at nine goals apiece, with the Redmen rallying for seven straight goals from there. In a game where the offenses were firing, Walendowski made 11 quality saves, which helped EI slow down the powerful Wildcats.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["23422"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"In the first half, there were a few times when he got beat. But he's “the guy” among the East Islip longpoles, running on almost every single wing in addition to going toe-to-toe with [player_tooltip player_id='14958' first='Liam' last='Gregorek'], who was going after him the entire way. He was great when it came to picking up ground balls. Kalinowski has excellent stick skills along with great size and physicality. He created offense for his team with how good he was in between the lines. And in the second half, his motor was still going at a high rate. East Islip asked a lot from him, and he delivered, making some great plays down the stretch.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["14958"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"The Hopkins-bound senior has always been tasked to do a little bit of everything. He took faceoffs, played defense, and was the catalyst on offense. He finished with two goals on the day offensively and was a key player between the lines, proving to be one of the fastest players on the field. His speed caused problems for East Islip, and he helped Shoreham get a ton of looks offensively. In the future, I could see SWR using him in more inverts. He scored off a speed dodge at X, where he came up the hash and scored with ease.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["15276"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Another two-way midfielder for the Wildcats, the Navy commit had a standout game and made a few highlight reel-worthy plays. On defense, he played with some serious tenacity. He got into an East Islip player cleanly and threw him to the ground for a caused turnover. Kershis also showed off the speed by going coast-to-coast for a goal. He added another goal by being active inside and able to handle a pass off the ground for a quick shot that found the back of the net. He will be a pivotal piece on both sides of the field the rest of the way for Shoreham.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66154d752494a"} /-->
