Stashed away in the Ches-Mont League is this athletic, fleet-footed, and physical close defender who should be on every college coach's radar. Thanks to his smooth footwork, active stick, and ability to play the body, Alpini is a suffocating on-ball presence. His ability to stay glued to an opponent and pressure his hands through multiple changes of direction or screens is incredible. Once the opportunity presents itself, Alpini will use a powerful slap check or a timely lift or poke to cause a turnover. Off-ball, Alpini is a high IQ team defender whose slides and double teams are always on time. He also has a knack for intercepting ill-advised skip passes. When the ball hits the turf, Alpini's positioning skills and quick reactions enable him to secure possession in a crowd. Alpini can then leg the ball out himself or fire a smart pass upfield to an open teammate. Alpini's shifty moves and field awareness make him a plus player in the clearing game.

During his remarkable sophomore campaign at Bishop Eustace in New Jersey, Pentimalli recorded 29 goals to go along with 13 assists. Pentimalli's breakout 2026 season included a 7-goal, 1-assist outburst in a win over Cherry Hill East. Then, this past summer, Pentimalli transferred to St. Joe's Prep in Philadelphia. That move across the Delaware River by Pentimalli means the SJP program is bringing in an offensive prospect with an explosive first step, tremendous instincts, and elite stick skills. Pentimalli can initiate from anywhere in the offensive end, cook his defender, and then create scoring chances for himself or teammates. His ability to score or distribute while on the run is impressive. Pentimalli's two-handed skill set makes him difficult to defend in space. This available junior's high IQ and spacing awareness make him a smooth operator in two-man game action. College coaches should love that Pentimalli can play SSDM at a respectable level too. His speed, nonstop motor, and active stick make Pentimalli an on-ball menace as well as a ground ball machine.

How this athletic midfield/attack prospect with intimidating size, noteworthy speed, and polished stick skills remains available is a mystery. Last spring, Pulliam poured in 40 goals and handed out 12 assists for Conestoga. At attack, Pulliam is an absolute sniper from the wing as well as GLE. His compact release and precise aim leave opposing goalies helpless. Pulliam can dodge from anywhere on the field, but he presents serious matchup problems when he initiates from X. From behind the net, Pulliam can shake a close defender and then sprint to the front of the cage for a dunk. Or Pulliam can patiently bully a short stick until he crosses GLE for a shot or to drop a dime on an open teammate. As a midfielder, Pulliam can get downhill from up top, run past or through his defender and then crank 12-to-15-yard shots into the net. Pulliam can also continue his charge to the net while absorbing significant contact along the way and then finish in close with an overhand. Pulliam's powerful and accurate shot makes him a legitimate catch-and-shoot threat from up top. His ability to crank from distance with either hand is remarkable. In addition to his 6v6 skill set, Pulliam is a plus player in the transition game too.

The first thing that pops about Sauerwald is his elite finishing skills. Whether he is capping off a fast break or completing a designed play in 6v6 action, Sauerwald's notable size, deep bag of fakes, and elite shooting skills allow him to convert on even the toughest finishes around the net. In settled possessions, Sauerwald is a master at sweeping from X to the back post or front of the crease for a catch-and-dunk goal. Out on the perimeter, Sauerwald can rip sidearms into the net from the wing. His swift release and ability to change levels produce Instagram-worthy catch-and-fire goals. Once Sauerwald has established that perimeter threat, he will execute a shot fake, or hitch move, and then dip underneath his defender for a charge to the net. On those runs to the cage, Sauerwald does a fantastic job of keeping his head up. So, when the slide comes too early, Sauerwald will move the ball to the open teammate for an assist. As a bonus to his offensive prowess, Sauerwald's length, speed, and relentless nature make him a plus player on the ride.

Schwenzer is arguably the most versatile 2028 prospect in the Delaware Valley who is still available. His primary position if face-off specialist, but Schwenzer has also demonstrated that he can have a major impact as an SSDM as well as O-mid. As a FOGO, Schwenzer is a game changer with textbook technique, lightning-quick hands, and next level separation speed. That trifecta of assets enables Schwenzer to execute clean pick-and-pops and then streak into the offensive end for goals and assists. Additionally, Schwenzer has the agility, active stick, and high motor needed to grind out wins at the dot. As a short stick, Schwenzer excels at using his lateral quickness to beat ball carriers to a spot and then turn them. With his before mentioned speed and fearless style, Schwenzer can crash into a crowd and secure a ground ball. He will then sprint downfield and use his shifty cutback moves to carry the ball deep into the offensive end. Once Schwenzer is below the restraining line, he is a legitimate scoring threat. At O-mid, Schwenzer can dodge from up top, blow past his man, and then get down the alley for cranks on the run.
