Groben is an athletic beast who excels at generating offense by getting downhill from up top or the wing. The trifecta of his dynamic speed, powerful frame and change-of-direction moves allows Groben to beat the on-ball defender in a variety of ways. As an initiator, Groben can blow past, run over, or shake defenders as he charges to the net. Once he finds open space, Groben will crank 15-to 18-yarders while on the run. Or Groben can continue his run to the cage and then deposit a powerful overhand into the net. Groben has also flashed the ability to carry the ball to X and initiate or feed from there. The power and accuracy on Groben’s perimeter shot make him a legitimate catch-and-rip threat too.
