Pennsylvania Transfer Watch 2026 - Part III

Elite lacrosse prospects from all over the county are continuing the annual ritual of transferring high schools during the off-season.   A number of those players will transfer to schools in Pennsylvania.   A few prospects will depart Pennsylvania for schools in other states.   Here at Preplacrosse.com we will do our best to track those player movements and pass that information on to you, the reader. Of course, we will also include a profile of each prospect's skill set.    Below is Part III in our Pennsylvania Transfer Watch 2026 series.      Devlin is an athletic and rangy pole who has been making headlines of late. First, Devlin announced that after a standout career at Rumson Fair Haven (NJ), he would be taking a post graduate year at Hill School. Then last week, Devlin gave his verbal commitment committed to Dickinson College (D3). That news means Dickinson has added a versatile defender and ground ball machine to their 2027 recruiting class. Devlin owns the speed, polished footwork, and high IQ to operate at LSM or close defense. He can stay glued to ball carriers anywhere on the field and cause turnovers via timely pokes or lifts as well as a powerful stick checks. Devlin is a master at putting the ball on the turf via a can opener too. Once the ball is on the ground, Devlin will use his active stick and physicality to help him secure possession. The coaching staff at Dickinson will love Devlin's scoop and go skills.     Mofield was one of the breakout stars of the June 2026 club circuit. Last month, his ridiculously quick reflexes and textbook technique produced a slew of Instagram worthy saves. Mofield is especially adept at making saves on shots from point blank range. Mofield's patience, agility, and willingness to use any part of his body are key factors in his ability to deny scoring chances around the crease. He also does an incredible job of tracking long range shooters and then popping of his line to make a clean save. Once the ball is in his stick, Mofield has the speed and athleticism to clear the ball out himself. Or he can make a short dash up field and then fire an outlet pass over the midfield line. Over the summer, this former Community School (Naples, FL) standout will transfer to the Hill School and reclass into the 2030 graduate year.     Technically, Moulder is transferring from St. Augustine Prep in South Jersey to Salesianum in Wilmington, Delaware. But since both of those areas are considered suburbs of Philadelphia, I included him in this article. Moulder is a dual threat X-attack with tremendous offensive instincts. His ability to score and feed from behind the net keeps opposing defenses guessing. Moulder's quick burst and serious shake enables him to cook the initial defender and then turn the corner for a finish in close. He can also separate from his defender, race across GLE, then turn and fire a sidearm rip into the net while on the move. College coaches will love Moulder's ability to change directions multiple times on the same run to the cage. Moulder is an off-ball genius too. His crafty sweeps and cuts frequently produce easy catch and dunk scoring chances. When he isn't looking to score, Moulder's field vision and elite stick skills allow him to deliver creative dimes.     This long and solidly built lefty recently announced on social media that he will be departing Catholic High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia and taking his talents to the Hill School. In addition to transferring, Ostrowski will reclass into the 2028 graduate year. One item that pops immediately about Ostrowski is his powerful shot. On the run and on catch and fire situations, when Ostrowski's shoots, the ball looks like it was fired out of a cannon. Combine that force with his precise aim and creative placement and Ostrowski's long range cranks are impossible to stop. Another item that college coaches will be intrigued by is Ostrowski's transition skills. Ostrowski owns the speed and nifty change of direction moves to swiftly push the rock down field after a ground ball pick up in the defensive end or after receiving an outlet pass coming out of the box. His polished stick skills enable him to score or distribute on the fast break. Lastly, Ostrowski will surprise opponents with his ability to invert and quarterback an offense from X.     This summer one of the most decorated underclassmen prospects in Pennsylvania has exited Downingtown West and transferred to Delaware powerhouse Salesianum. For a 2029 prospect, Poet is extremely polished and owns a great deal of big game experience. His impressive agility, quick reflexes and active stick enable Poet to cover every inch of the cage. He can slide post to post in a flash and execute swift drops. Poet also tracks long range shooters through traffic remarkably well. Poet makes a high percentage of clean saves which allows him to quickly distribute the ball to an open teammate. College coaches will love his smartly timed and accurate clearing passes. Poet is an athletic and speedy goalie who will not hesitate to scramble out of the crease and secure possession of a loose ball. Finally, Poet does a fantastic job of communicating with his defensive unit.
