I was very impressed with Zeigler’s game at the NHSLS Red Session. Against a very talented Loomis Chaffee offense, he made seven saves while allowing five goals while I watched. Those stops came in a variety of ways, with saves off his foot, up high, low, and on the doorstep. Even on some of the shots that beat him, he was right there and often got a piece of the ball before it went in. His presence in the cage is calming, both in the way he moves and in the upright, comfortable stance he plays from. When shots come in, he does not waste movement and gets to the ball well, especially on stick-side high and low looks. He also handles the ball extremely well, navigating pressure, zipping passes through tight windows, and dropping lobs over riding attackmen.
