Barber is a dynamic offensive prospect who just committed to Harvard. During his stellar junior campaign, Barber scored 47 goals and dished out 41 assists. The first item that pops about Barber is his elite shooting skills. Barber's quick release, power and precise aim make his rips impossible to stop. His ability to fire with either hand is an added bonus. Barber can also score or distribute on the run thanks to his quick burst, cutbacks skills and elusive stuck maneuvers. Once he weaves through the opposing defense and gets to the crease area, Barber has a deep bag of finishing moves he can use to put the ball in the net. Barber's non-stop motor and instincts make him a plus player on the ride too.

This athletic and multi-skilled pole with an aggressive style is a defensive menace. Caiazzo does an incredible job of staying on-balance and in front of ball carriers. His impressive anticipation skills enable him to repeatedly beat ball carriers to a spot and then turn them. Caiazzo will patiently pursue a ball carrier and then when an opening presents itself, he will unleash a powerful stick check or crafty poke that creates a turnover. Additionally, Caiazzo is a master at delivering a sneaky check to the butt end of an opponent's stick which puts the ball on the ground. Caiazzo has demonstrated that he can anchor a defensive unit too. His timely slides and double teams as well as his excellent communication skills keeps everyone on the back end connected. Earlier this month, Caiazzo flipped from Vermont to Marquette.

Marino recently flipped his commitment from UMBC to Saint Joe's. That switch means the SJU coaching staff has added a highly decorated face off specialist to their 2026 class who has compiled 380 face-off wins in his career. This past spring, Marino secured 186 face-off wins, won 69% of his draws and was a 1st Team All-Cape Atlantic League selection. Marino is an athletic FOGO with fast hands, polished footwork, and incredible technique. That trifecta of assets produces clean wins that send Marino charging into the offensive end. His ability to run through contact will carry Marino deep into the offensive end. Once there, Marino is a threat to score or distribute on the run. Marino's ability to shoot with both hands and from creative angles keeps opposing goalies guessing. Marino has also been known to drop to the ground and grind out a win. His use of defensive exits is always on point too.

McGovern is an agile attack with polished skills and noteworthy size. Combine those items with McGovern's quick burst as well as his serious shake, and you get an attack prospect who is impossible to defend 1v1. McGovern's ability to blow past his initial defender and get into the heart of the defense wreaks havoc on opposing teams. If an opposing team slides too early, McGovern will use his field vision to find an open teammate. When the slide comes late, that allows McGovern to charge all the way to crease for a scoring chance in close. Of course, McGovern can also cook his defender, dash into open space, and then fire from deep. McGovern has demonstrated that he can operate at X as an initiator or a feeder. In mid-June, McGovern gave his verbal commitment to Robert Morris.

Back in early May I highlighted Placotaris as one the top available 2027s in Pennsylvania. Last week, the Lafayette coaching staff made me look smart by securing a verbal from this exceptionally talented midfielder who lives in their own backyard (Easton, PA). During this past season, Placotaris netted 63 goals and handed out 31 assists. Those incredible 2026 stats pushed him over the 200-career points mark. Placotaris thrives in transition where his shifty moves and separation speed enable him to go the length of the field for goals and assists. He can also come out of the box, receive an outlet pass and then push the rock down field. In settled action, Placotaris owns an explosive burst which he can use to blow past the initial defender and then sprint into open space for a crank on the run. Additionally, Placotaris is a serious perimeter step-down shooting threat. The combination of his high IQ and field vision makes Placotaris a creative distributor.
