During Ridley's 3A state tournament opening round win over Cumberland Valley, Bair poured in six goals and handed out an assist. Then, in Ridley's hard-fought quarterfinal loss to 3A tournament favorite LaSalle, Bair scored two goals. This past Saturday, Bair's ability to find the back of the net while on the run was on full display again. Bair's explosive burst and serious shake enabled him to apply constant pressure on La Salle's defensive unit. His frequent off-ball movements made him difficult to mark, too. Bair's ability to shoot or feed with both hands was also impressive.

During the 2026 season, Caldwell established himself as one of the top freshmen in Western Pennsylvania. His impressive play has continued here in the 2A state tournament. In Mars 1st Round win, Caldwell pumped home five goals. For an encore, Caldwell posted two goals along with an assist as Mars defeated Upper Dublin in the quarterfinals. On Saturday, the speedy and athletic Caldwell generated offense both as an initiator and through crafty off-ball movements. College coaches will love the quick release and precise placement Caldwell showed on his shots. He also displayed offensive instincts that were well beyond his years.

The fast, elusive, and highly skilled Goldstein has been a major part of the historic season Penncrest (District 1-2A champions) has posted here in 2026. On Saturday, this Drexel commit pushed Penncrest to the 2A semifinals with an extraordinary 5 goals and 6 assists performance. Goldstein was unstoppable 1v1. He used his quick burst to cook initial defenders and then dashed into open space, where he fired missiles into the net while on the run. Goldstein also did a beautiful job of using a hitch move to set up a duck underneath of his defender, followed by a charge to the net, for a finish around the crease. When Abington Heights started double-teaming Goldstein, he recognized the scheme and swiftly moved the ball to an open teammate.

In La Salle's win over Ridley, Heron proved to be a defensive force. He is a close defender with imposing size, good speed, and an active stick. This past Saturday, Heron used those assets to supply suffocating on ball defense. He frequently overpowered ball carriers with his physicality. When he wasn't bullying opponents, he was causing turnovers with powerful stick checks or crafty pokes. Once the ball was on the turf, Heron's aggressive stick and nose for the ball enabled him to secure GB. Heron also served as a one-man clear several times during La Salle's victory by swiftly legging the ball over the midfield line. This junior also executed timely slides as well as double teams. Heron missed the 2025 season with an injury. But it is time college coaches stopped sleeping on this high-level defensive prospect.

This past Saturday, Shervin stood on his head for Upper Dublin during their 10-8 loss to Mars in the 2A quarterfinals. Officially, the agile and poised Shervin was credited with 16 saves. However, in watching this contest live, it appeared Shervin made more than 20 stops. The extremely athletic Shervin, who also plays football, displayed fast hands as well as excellent tracking skills during the numerous clean saves he made on perimeter shots. Shervin also stoned a handful of scoring opportunities around the crease for Mars thanks to his quick reflexes and ability to make saves with his body/feet. Shervin did a fantastic job of constantly communicating with his defensive unit, too. The scary part is that Shervin is just scratching the surface of his potential.
