Strid is a fast and shifty offensive prospect with filthy stick skills who can play attack or midfield. At attack, the left-handed Strid thrives in the low lefty spot. From there Strid is impossible to stop on catch and fire plays at GLE. Strid is also a master at sweeping around from X, receiving a pass, and then finishing around the crease. This season Strid demonstrated that he could operate as an initiator or feeder from X too. At midfield, Strid owns the explosiveness and moves needed to sweep across an opposing defense and then shoot or distribute on the run. Strid’s ability to dodge from up top going to his left or right keeps defenders guessing. Strid can also crank step downs into the net from long distance. College coaches will drool over Strid’s ability to pass and shoot with both hands.
