All-LVLA Second Team: Defense and Goalies

He came into every game prepared and ready to compete, maintaining a next-play mentality regardless of the situation. Aragon also did a solid job of surveying the field after making saves and helping initiate the clear. He shows a real willingness to stand his ground and has the quick reflexes to make highlight-reel saves when called upon. He is also one of the stronger communicators in the cage in Las Vegas, consistently directing traffic and helping keep his defense organized. Peterson's leadership and steady presence were key assets for his squad. He became a true Swiss Army knife for the team, contributing on both sides of the ball whenever called upon. His instincts and speed allowed him to get downhill in transition and create fast-break opportunities, several of which he converted into goals. Pavicich also made an impact on the defensive end, throwing quality checks and using his lateral quickness to keep opposing players in front of him. He routinely got involved in ground-ball scrums and frequently came away with possession for his team. Once he secured the ball, he showed good awareness and did a nice job protecting his stick while navigating through traffic. Defensively, he was physical, often forcing his matchup to less favorable shooting angles and consistently contesting shots. He is the type of defender who sticks to his assignment, and will pester his matchups hands with stick checks. He also knows when it's time to do some pushing and shoving. Doing a solid job of getting attackers off their line. He stepped up as a captain for them, and made his presence felt game in and game out. Causing turnovers, legging it up the field, and helping his fellow defenders when necessary. He is also only a 2027 and is part of their strong junior class that has a great deal of chemistry together.
