Thus, I would suggest that college coaches should watch the following players closely this spring.

Delaney is a polished attack prospect with a well-rounded skill set. He does a fantastic job of using crafty change of pace moves and elusive stick maneuvers to navigate his way through the opposing defenses for scoring opportunities in close. Delaney can dodge from anywhere in the offensive end, but he is especially effective when initiating from the wing. His ability to dip underneath the initial defender for a run at the cage is especially impressive. Delaney's deep bag of moves also boasts a nasty swim dodge. Once gets to the crease area, Delaney can finish with a powerful overhand or flip a sidearm shot past the goalie. In the transition game, Delaney is an effective catch and fire step down shooter. The combination of his quick release and precise aim renders goalies helpless.

I normally do not compare high school prospects to college players, but I must admit, Irish does remind me a little of Cornell standout Ryan Goldstein. Like Goldstein, Irish is an undersized attack with a quick burst, serious shake, a well-rounded skill set and a high IQ. His ability to score or feed with either hand is impressive. Irish can initiate from anywhere on the field, but he thrives when operating from X. His explosive first step and filthy cutback moves enable Irish to lose the initial defender, race around the corner and then deposit the ball in the net. Irish has repeatedly proven that he can absorb significant contact on his charges to the cage. If the defensive slide cuts him off, Irish will move the rock to an open teammate. Irish can also hold the ball at X until a cutter comes open and then deliver a timely dime. Lastly, this sophomore has demonstrated that he can score by cranking shots from GLE as well as the wing.

MacKinnon is a stock rising face off specialist with a quick reaction time, remarkable mechanics, and an incredible burst. Those assets make it possible for MacKinnon to execute clean pick-n-pops and then sprint down field to create a fast break scoring chance. With his polished stick skills, MacKinnon is a threat to shoot or distribute on the run. On face off wins where he charges deep into the opposing defense, MacKinnon is a master at protecting his stick with his body and thus maintaining possession in heavy traffic. College coaches will love that MacKinnon can play a physical brand of FOGO too. On those draws, MacKinnon can rotate and then move his opponent off the dot before picking up the ball. Or he can simply drop to ground and grind out a win by overpowering his foe. Additionally, MacKinnon has shown that he can win the clamp and the direct snap the ball to one of his wings.

In 2025 this athletic and wiry midfielder was key “glue guy” for a Radnor team that advanced to the 3A state championship game. During his upcoming sophomore campaign, Niles he will be expected to carry a much heavier offensive load for the Raptors. That is a promotion we believe Niles is ready to handle. Niles is a shifty midfielder who can get downhill and then weave his way through an opposing defense until he finds a high percentage shooting opportunity. Niles can dodge going to his left or his right and then finish with either hand. In 6v6 action, this sophomore has displayed extreme poise and impressive field vision. That combination enables Niles to dish out timely assists. Niles has also proven that he can come out of the box, receive a clearing pass, and then push the ball in transition.

Orr is a speedy multi-sport athlete who also plays football. On the lacrosse field, Orr is a versatile offensive threat with incredible upside. Last season as a freshman on varsity, Orr operated at attack as well as midfield and even dropped back to play SSDM for stretches. At midfield, Orr can dodge down the alley and then fire on the run for a goal. From up top, Orr has also shown that he can work as a distributor and deliver well-timed passes to cutters. At attack, Orr excels at initiating from the corners as well as X, then blowing past his defender for goals in close. From both midfield and attack, Orr has shown that he can execute high IQ off ball movements that produce clean looks. Orr's perimeter shooting must be respected too.
