I realize that Rudnick attends Blair Academy in New Jersey, but he played for a Pennsylvania-based club team at Liberty National, so I elected to include him in this article. Plus, it was difficult to ignore the significant contributions Rudnick made to his True LV team, which advanced to its division championship game. Rudnick’s combination of size, speed and shake made him extremely difficult to defend 1v1. He consistently exploded downhill from the wing or up top and found open space for rips from 12-15 yards. On other dodges, Rudnick carried the ball all the way to the crease area for a slick finish around the net. His timely off-ball movements produced clean catch-and-fire looks. Rudnick’s ability to change levels / his shooting angles, and mix in with bouncers were noteworthy, too. Rudnick also flashed that he could operate at attack.
