At Liberty National Elite, Gingerlowski proved to be an extraordinarily versatile offensive prospect. As an O-mid, Gingerlowski bulled his way past multiple defenders and got to the cage for scoring chances in close. Gingerlowski also demonstrated that he could use change-of-direction spins and cuts to push the ball deep into the offensive end and then score or distribute. His field vision and ability to anticipate slides produced a few crowd-pleasing assists. This multi-skilled 2028 demonstrated that he could rip from deep too. As a bonus to his O-mid game, Gingerlowski flashed solid FOGO skills. Gingerlowski's ability to execute a clean clamp, charge down field through contact, and then distribute on the run was especially noteworthy.

This past weekend, Kirkpatrick's scoring prowess was a major reason Black Bear advanced to their 2029 division championship game. Kirkpatrick is a long and wiry prospect who repeatedly got downhill from up top for quality shots. This rising sophomore also demonstrated that he is a legitimate threat to fire well-placed sidearms and powerful overhands into the net. Still, what may have been most impressive about Kirkpatrick's skill set was his passing. During his five games at Liberty National, Kirkpatrick did not hesitate to make the smart, extra pass. That unselfish nature combined with field vision and stick skills produced a number of noteworthy assists. Kirkpatrick was especially adept at passing within two-man action sets.

I realize that Rudnick attends Blair Academy in New Jersey, but he played for a Pennsylvania-based club team at Liberty National, so I elected to include him in this article. Plus, it was difficult to ignore the significant contributions Rudnick made to his True LV team, which advanced to its division championship game. Rudnick's combination of size, speed and shake made him extremely difficult to defend 1v1. He consistently exploded downhill from the wing or up top and found open space for rips from 12-15 yards. On other dodges, Rudnick carried the ball all the way to the crease area for a slick finish around the net. His timely off-ball movements produced clean catch-and-fire looks. Rudnick's ability to change levels / his shooting angles, and mix in with bouncers were noteworthy, too. Rudnick also flashed that he could operate at attack.

Schmidt's weekend in Maryland got off to a flying start on Friday night when he earned the MVP award of the Liberty National Elite Showcase. His stellar play continued throughout the weekend as Schmidt repeatedly proved that he could generate scoring chances for himself and teammates from anywhere in the offensive zone. Operating at both attack and midfield, Schmidt used his size and quick burst to blow past initial defenders and then score or distribute on the move. Schmidt's solid frame and aggressive style enabled him to charge through sliding defenders. Or he used quick cuts and nifty stick maneuvers to simply elude the help defenders. Schmidt's speed and lacrosse instincts enabled him to push transition opportunities too. His height advantage allowed Schmidt to see over the top of opposing defenses. That asset combined with Schmidt's polished stick skills produced a handful of creative dimes.

This past spring, Wikert posted a ridiculous sophomore season as he scored 44 goals and won face-offs at a 65% clip. Wikert's dominance at the face-off dot continued across his four games at Liberty National last weekend. His clean pick-n-pop wins sent him sprinting into the offensive end, where he scored and distributed. Wikert's ability to maintain possession while running through body/stick checks was remarkable. His decision-making while running full speed through traffic was impressive too. Wikert also displayed crafty stick skills, including the ability to finish with either hand. As a bonus to his face-off skills, Wikert showed that he can operate at a high-level in 6v6 action as a midfielder. Wikert was named an All-Star selection after Friday night's Liberty National Showcase. College coaches need to keep an eye on this extremely talented and versatile specialist in July.
