He initiated from everywhere in the offensive end, ran through stick checks / contact and then deposited the ball in the back of the net. Once Bruder got in-close, his ability to shoot with either hand combined with his deep bag of finishing moves made him impossible to stop. Bruder also displayed excellent catch and fire skills from GLE. His quick release and accurate shot enabled him to ping all four corners of the cage. College coaches will love the non-stop motor Bruder displayed on rides and while pursuing ground balls.

Crouse is committed to Ohio Wesleyan (D3) and from what I witnessed on Saturday, the Fighting Bishops landed an absolute stud face off specialist. Thanks to his quick reactions and powerful clamps, Crouse more than held his own in match ups against high level opponents. His repeatedly won clean clamps, then smartly exited to open space to create offensive possessions for Wilson. When the opportunity presented itself, Crouse charged into the offensive end to generate fast break scoring chances. His ability to dish the rock while running at full speed was impressive. Crouse also executed several smooth defensive exits. Lastly, Crouse relentlessly pursued 50/50 balls until he secured possession.

In my preview piece for the Philly Fall HS Challenge, I highlighted Tremblay as a prospect to watch at this event. On Saturday, this lefty midfielder with imposing size and filthy skills made me look good by contributing at both ends of the field for Perkiomen School. The first item that popped about Tremblay was the way his long strides enabled him to glide up and down the field. Whether he was running the ball out of the defensive end or coming out of the box, Tremblay quickly separated himself from opposing players and created odd-man breaks for Perkiomen School. His polished stick skills enabled Tremblay to shoot or distribute with both hands while on the run. In 6v6 action, Tremblay dodged from up top and then raced down the alley for sidearm shots. With his size (6'4”; 200-pounds) and smooth lateral movements, Tremblay also provided menacing on-ball defense at SSDM.

Tully's size advantage (6'3”; 200-pounds) enabled him to bully opposing close defenders until he got to his favorite shooting spots. That size asset also allowed Tully to run through slides and double teams and then deposit the ball in the back of the net. But on Saturday, Tully proved he is more than just a bull in a China shop. He also displayed the ability to unleash accurate cranks on net. Plus, Tully executed effective hitch moves and then dipped underneath defenders for charges on net. Once he was in-close, Tully showed he could finish via powerful overhands or by slipping a sidearm shot past the goalie. Tully's field vision and passing skills were highlighted by several creative dimes.

Woodmansee used the Philly Fall HS Challenge to once again prove that he is an elite off-ball threat. He was a wizard at cutting behind defender's helmets or sweeping into open space along the crease for easy looks. When he was in-close, Woodmansee's polished stick skills and ability to finish with either hand kept opposing goalies guessing all day. On Saturday Woodmansee also showed that he could initiate from the wing or X and then change directions multiple times as he charged to the net. Woodmansee sniped a couple Instagram worthy goals from GLE too. The relentlessness Woodmansee displayed on rides was impressive as well.
