Possessing a stout frame and soft hands, Antesberger caught my eye for his well-rounded skill set, assertiveness, and motor. More filled out than the average ’28, he was more than willing to initiate contact when making his way to the rack or when riding the ball back. As an offensive initiator, he has a deceptive first step and a bit of wiggle, so he can routinely free up his hands despite his athletic limitations. In a short time, he rolled his man and then fed a teammate on the doorstep in addition to burying a back-hander on a dodge from X. As a shooter, the ball flies out of his stick, and he can stretch a defense with his range. The lefty generally seemed comfortable creating offense from the wings or behind the cage, and his team fed off of his energy.
