Szewczyk went off this weekend scoring five goals and dishing out four assists. The five-star North Carolina commit put his skills on display going both behind the back and backhanded for goals while just above the crease. Moving to attack for Culver late in the year, the First Team All-MSLA selection can dodge from anywhere on the field and has a bag of tricks at his disposal.

The Naperville (Ill.) native narrowly missed last year’s rankings after performing impeccably well at several events last summer, kicking things off with a brilliant four-goal showing in his first game at Juniors Open before going on to help True Illinois and Culver win multiple championships. He’s elevated his game significantly since he first arrived at the Indiana prep powerhouse, and broke through for a 42-goal, 30-assist junior campaign for the No. 8 team in North America.
Tall, tough, and dynamic, Szewyczk has polished his skills and developed a hammer of an outside shot, looking flat-out unstoppable at times this summer as part of a nasty 1-2 punch with Ohio State signee Liam White for the True Illinois midfield. So many aspects of his game look ACC-ready right now, and his skill set was on display at Committed Combine’s Fab 50 event. This spring, he’ll have the opportunity to have another massive spring and go out on top as the offensive linchpin for a Culver senior class that features many of his club teammates.
