Earlier this week, Watson committed to Boston University. If you saw Watson play in 2025, you know exactly why the Terriers came strong for him during the first month of recruiting for 2027s. Last season Watson posted a save percentage of 57% and was a 1^st Team All-MAPL as well as All-State selection. Watson is an extremely athletic goalie with cat-like reflexes. Those assets combined with his active hands enable Watson to cover the entire cage. Watson’s ability to fire his hands and stick in all directions produces a high percentage of clean saves. Watson also excels at making low saves with his body or stick. Once the ball is in his possession, Watson will rapidly deliver an accurate clearing pass. With his athleticism and foot speed, Watson will not hesitate to push the ball up the field himself.
