Schools across the Bluegrass State enter spring break this week and thus many teams are opting to take the week off and allow their guys to rest before coming back and beginning that final regular season push the second week of April.

With many teams not being in action this coming week, it is a perfect time to take a look back at those who've stood out among the rest through this 2025 season thus far.

This article will be part one of a region-by-region look at some of the stars that we've seen this season.

First Region

The first region, which is made up of Bowling Green, Greenwood, Owensboro, and South Warren, includes the westernmost programs in the Commonwealth. Through the first month of the season, it has been the Greenwood Gators who have compiled the best region at 4-2 with their only losses coming to St. George's (Tenn.) and regional foe South Warren. Bowling Green has the best regional record to date with wins over South Warren and Owensboro. The Purples have a loss to Greenwood. In region one, each team will play each other twice in the regular season.

Stewart has been as advertised through the first three contests of his senior season. A 6-foot, 150-pound attackman who has a great feel for the game and moves well with the ball, Stewart leads the Spartans offense with 11 points off nine goals and two assists.

A midfielder with a nose for the cage, Schneider has been the focal point of the Bowling Green offense through the early season. He has netted 13 goals and dished out six assists for 19 points through five games.

Second Region

The second region encompasses Hardin County as well as the southwestern most programs in Jefferson County. And as expected, it has been the region favorite Manual Crimsons who have been the most impressive to this point in the season. Manual enters spring break with a 6-2 record that includes dominant wins over regional foes Central Hardin, DeSales, and North Hardin.

Helping Manual to a 7-2 start under first-year head coach Brian Moore, Dye has proven himself to be the Crimsons most versatile playmakers. An offensive threat from anywhere on the field, he has tallied 24 points off 17 goals and seven assists thus far. The sophomore also also gone 37-for-63 (58%) as an option at the faceoff dot. He also has 30 ground balls on the year.

Delgado has had a strong start to his senior season with the Crimson. He has 30 points on the year and is one of two 20-goal scorers for Manual to this point in the season, along with junior Charlie Rose.

Third Region

It is not required in Kentucky that teams play each of their regional foes in the regular season but such a case is still a rarity. Powerhouse St. Xavier is doing just that and indeed only scheduled three in-state opponents this season with one being rival and fellow powerhouse Trinity. The Tigers sit at 4-2 at the moment and are coming off a win over that aforementioned rival. Elsewhere in the region, the Collegiate Titans are 2-4 and dealing with a plethora of injuries. The Titans are arguably the second-best squad in the region and have a win over regional foe Male, who is 2-6 on the year. A win over the Bulldogs is also part of Atherton's 4-2 mark thus far.

St. Xavier sits at 4-2 on the year and is riding a three-gam winning streak with the latter two victories being their most impressive to date. The leader of the Tigers' offense, Marks has shined bright in that start for St. Xavier and has earned the respect of opponents as he often draws their top pole. The strong dodger has 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points through six games.

Allowing 9.6 goals per game this season, the St. Xavier defense has been strong to start the season and there are many faces that have shined on that end for the Tigers. The senior LSM has, however, shown up in a multitude of facets for St. Xavier this spring. Dobson has made his presence known on the back end as a strong cover-man, on the faceoff wings as a ground ball gobbler, and in transition offense where he has two assists thus far.

Fourth Region

Made up of the easternmost programs in Jefferson County, the fourth region has seen just two games with regional consequences be played thus far as Christian Academy has both a loss to KCD and a win over Ballard. Powerhouse Trinity is the clear-cut favorite in the region and sits at 4-4 on the year with only one loss (St. Xavier) coming against a fellow Kentucky team. The Shamrocks will see two regional foes immediately upon return from spring break with contests versus Eastern and Ballard in early April. Christian Academy is 5-1 and KCD is 5-3 to this point. The Centurions and Bearcats have been most impressive teams in the region behind the Shamrocks thus far.

The Fairfield signee has been on an absolute tear through the first month of his senior season. A midfielder who knows how to get downhill and create for himself, Bryant has been a multi-goal scorer in each of the Shamrocks' contests to this point. He has 29 goals on the year and has been the leader of the Trinity offense.

Part of a strong offensive duo along with classmate [player_tooltip player_id='24851' first='Cooper' last='Risinger'], Leachman has been an uber-important piece of the Ballard offense through their 4-2 start. The Lincoln Memorial commit has been a very balanced playmaker this season, scoring 27 goals and dishing out the same number of assists for 54 points thus far. He is on track to well surpass his 80-point season showing last spring.
