A two-time captain and First Team All-FCIAC attackman at Fairfield Warde, Mulligan brings an impressive resume to Fairfield Prep, where he’ll play for Graham Niemi and the defending state champs. A big-time pickup for the Utes, Mulligan excelled both at X and above the cage, leading his team with 33 goals and 22 assists. Mulligan is a smooth operator who thrives no matter where he attacks from. He has a confident dodging style, slickness for days, and the ability to free his hands at will. He’s a high-percentage shooter, but he’s dynamic in that he can also beat defenders off the end line, finishing with question marks or inside rolls on a regular basis. Now at Fairfield Prep, Mulligan will face a significantly more challenging schedule, but he seems poised to step into a sizable role immediately and should fit in nicely alongside the returners on offense.
