With a few weekends left in the fall ball schedule for this year, I thought today would be an appropriate time to examine a handful of talented Delaware Valley prospects who have played outstanding lacrosse over the last month.

So, below are profiles of prospects from Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Central and South Jersey who have caught the attention of coaches, scouts, and opponents lately.

This athletic and agile prospect with polished stick skills is a dynamic two-way pole. Jewell excels at vacuuming up a ground ball or receiving a clearing pass, and then racing into the offensive end. Once Jewell is below the restraining line, he is a legitimate threat to score a transition goal. Jewell's lengthy wingspan and two-handed stick skills keep the ball out of harm's way during those fast break opportunities. His ability to weave through an entire opposing team on the way to a high-percentage scoring chance is unique among 2030 longsticks. On defense, Jewell uses his formidable size and smooth lateral footwork to stop ball carriers cold. This freshman will put the ball on the turf via powerful stick checks as well as crafty lifts and pokes. Jewell is an expert at delivering well-timed overheads too. Jewell's ability to completely shut down the opposing team's No. 1 option is impressive.

Over the last seven months, Morrow has played outstanding lacrosse to improve his stock. This athletic, fleet-footed 2029 prospect makes a major impact on both ends of the field. On defense, Morrow's speed and anticipation allow him to relentlessly pursue ball carriers. Morrow is an especially suffocating defensive presence when the ball is behind the net. Once his opponent leaves an opening, Morrow will deliver a fierce slap check or timely lift, poke, or can-opener that puts the ball on the turf. Morrow's quick reactions, agility, and aggressive stick make him a ground ball machine. After Morrow has secured possession, he has proven to be a master at moving to open space and then firing the ball upfield to an open teammate. Morrow has also shown that he can scoop a ground ball or receive an outlet pass and then rapidly leg the ball out himself. Morrow's ability to shoot or distribute on the dead sprint is remarkable. College coaches will love that Morrow is dominant on the wings of face-offs, too.

Rada is a fast, elusive offensive prospect with nasty stick skills. That combination allows him to generate scoring chances for himself and his teammates from anywhere in the offensive zone. In 6v6 action, Rada can get downhill in a flash, beat his initial defender, and create separation for a 12-to-15-yard shot on the run. He can also evade sliding defenders and take it all the way to the net for a finish in tight. His ability to initiate from either side makes him particularly difficult to defend 1v1. Rada pairs excellent field vision with a feathery touch, making him a creative passer in settled situations. Off-ball, he's a dangerous catch-and-fire threat on the perimeter, with a quick release and enough velocity to snipe from up top or the wing. His speed, athleticism, and change-of-direction ability also make him an effective transition midfielder. In July 2026, Rada was a key member of Team Philly's Rush Division squad at the New Balance All-America event.

Thanks to his quick hands and lively stick, Scherer covers the top corners of the cage with ease. His agility allows him to make swift, controlled drops to handle difficult low shots, while his tracking ability and willingness to come off his line help him turn away long-range missiles. He's equally impressive moving post to post to shut down scoring chances in tight. A high percentage of Scherer's saves are clean catches, allowing him to quickly turn them into outlet passes and spark transition opportunities. He's also a quick-twitch athlete who can scramble to pounce on loose balls or win the chase. For a sophomore, Scherer displays an impressive level of poise between the pipes.

When Spooner wins a face-off cleanly, it is game over, because his explosive burst allows him to easily separate from the pack and then streak into the offensive end. With his shifty moves and two-handed skills, Spooner is a threat to carry the ball deep below the restraining line and then score or distribute while on the run. When he needs to grind out a win, Spooner can use his powerful hands and textbook technique to saw down and then secure possession. Spooner executes beautiful defensive exits too. His ability to spin and then use his body to hold off his opponent while he scoops through the GB is remarkable. Additionally, Spooner has demonstrated that he is capable of winning the clamp and then snapping the ball to one of his wings. Lastly, Spooner is a master at utilizing sweeps and jabs to push the rock into open space where he can then snap up the loose ball.
