Last week, we covered a number of the top '28s and '29s from Adrenaline Final Say, highlighting sophomores with big upside and defensive stalwarts from both grades. Now, it's time to shine a light on five more '28s who impressed on the offensive end.

While Buenviaje wasn't exactly on my radar heading into the weekend, he didn't take very long to make a strong first impression in Friday night's showcase, then took off from there. His athleticism and explosiveness first caught my eye: he's very sudden in his movements, making it hard for his defender to get their paws on him. Most of the time that Buenviaje put his foot in the ground and made his way to the rack, he was able to get his hands free and snap shots off on the run. There are aspects about his game that are still rough around the edges
— particularly his lacrosse IQ and stick skills — but there's so much to like about what he brings to the table and what he could become. From what I've gathered, he's someone who has been asked to play a lot of roles for his high school team, but he strikes me as a college midfielder with upside as he polishes his skill.

Folk provided a rock-solid offensive presence for Fog City throughout the event, as his play consistently stood out, and he had at least a point or two in each game I caught. Having been familiar with his game for a year now, what struck me had less to do with his skill set and more with his response to adversity. Whenever Folk made a mistake, he was quick to follow it up with a positive play, and there's a lot to be said for that. He picked up ground balls in the riding game, excelled as a wing dodger, and scored off ball movement, while also coming up with key goals, including a fourth-quarter on-the-run tally against Regis Jesuit on Saturday. Athletically, he's quicker than he is fast, and he pairs that with excellent hands. He's diverse with his release points, and the ball flies out of his stick as a shooter. Folk continues to elevate his game, and I'm eager to see him later this fall, as well as this spring with St. Ignatius.

From where I sit, Van Der Bosch was the most impressive uncommitted '28 in attendance, if not one of the very best juniors at the event. Incredibly smooth and crafty, he showed a variety of release points and a knack for being able to score under duress, not to mention at a high clip. There's a certain reliability to him, as Van Der Bosch performed like a seasoned veteran and was routinely scoring big (and timely) goals to help carry the Regis Jesuit offense. He's just a natural left-handed goal scorer who knows how to get back to his strong hand and be involved in scoring plays, whether that's in the two-man game, in unsettled situations, or on the high crease. I have a hard time fully understanding why he was passed over in that first wave of '28 recruiting, though I do not doubt that Van Der Bosch will find a great home in the near future.

A standout for a Brophy Prep squad full of under-the-radar and up-and-coming talent, White asserted himself rather nicely during pool play and had a standout outing in the All-Star Game as well. He's able to stretch defenses as an outside shooter, but I was more impressed with his ability to create his own shot as a dodger with regularity. White kept getting topside to finish in front of the cage or to the island, where he has a full bag of tricks to beat defenders and goalies alike. He's explosive as a shooter off his feet and consistently gets a step on his man, generating high-quality looks. In addition, he's great at protecting his stick and limiting turnovers, too. With another year or two, I could see him developing into a really talented recruit, and whoever lands him will benefit.

Another St. Ignatius and XLC '28 who caught my attention last November and December, Zech continued to assert himself at Final Say and show why he's one of the better uncommitted midfielders out West. He checks several boxes that make him an intriguing recruit: he has the shake to win matchups, a knack for getting to the right spots, and an opportunistic mindset when it comes to creating shots for himself and his teammates. In Colorado, he showed the ability to make his man miss by putting his foot in the ground and freeing up his hands, while also doing good work off-ball to create opportunities for himself. While he could stand to be a bit more consistent and show a little more with his off-hand (though I'd still consider it above average, at the very least), there's plenty to like about what he brings to the table. At times, Zech has also shown an ability to make key plays when getting the ball up off the ground and even contribute defensively, though his greatest upside is as an offensive midfielder.
