<p>But today, I want to shine a light on five extraordinarily skilled and <em>available</em> 2028 prospects in the Delaware Valley who college coaches are sleeping on. I would highly suggest that college coaches wake up and contact the prospects below immediately.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of the first things that you notice about Barlow's skill set is his ability to effectively initiate going to his left or right and then score or distribute with both hands. That well-rounded skill set combined with his explosive first step makes Barlow impossible to defend in space. Barlow can create scoring chances for himself or teammates from anywhere on the field, but he is particularly dangerous when he works from behind the net. At X, Barlow can string together multiple cutbacks until he gains separation from his defender. He will then streak around the corner for a dunk along the crease. Additionally, Barlow can cook his initial matchup at X, push up the field, and then turn a rip a sidearm shot into the net. Or Barlow can dash across GLE, draw the slide, and then dish the rock to the open teammate. Another intriguing feature of Barlow's game is his catch-and-snipe skills. During the 2026 high school season, Barlow scored 70 goals and was a 2nd Team All-State selection. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">After missing the 2026 high school season with an injury, Batty hit the summer club circuit with a vengeance. Over the summer, this agile and wiry offensive prospect cooked initial defenders with his explosive first step and shifty moves. Once he found open space, Batty pinged corners, scored off hip and fired bouncers past opposing goalies while on the run. This past summer, Batty was especially effective when he initiated from the corners. Off-ball, Batty's cuts and dives produced high-percentage opportunities around the crease. Additionally, Batty demonstrated that he owns significant catch-and-shoot skills from the wing. With his deep bag of fakes and shot placement skills, Batty excelled at finishing off transition opportunities too. Lastly, Batty's non-stop motor and active stick made him a plus player on the ride. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">This athletic and rangy LSM first caught our attention on the summer 2026 circuit at NHSLS and then again at the A.L.L. Summer Championships. The first items that pops about Calderon's game are his transition skills. After he has vacuumed up a ground ball or received an outlet pass, Calderon's speed and change-of-direction moves allow him to push the ball deep into the offensive end. His powerful and accurate shot makes Calderon a legitimate scoring threat on the fast break. College coaches should also love the smart shot or pass decisions Calderon makes in transition. Defensively, Calderon's owns smooth footwork, a lively stick, and an extra aggressive style. That trifecta allows Calderon to press far out on opponents and provide suffocating on-ball defense. Down low, Calderon uses his physicality to drive ball carriers off their intended line. His ability to turn a dodger multiple times is impressive. Calderon has also shown a knack for disrupting passing lanes with his stick. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">How Curry remains available is a complete mystery. This decorated junior is a remarkably skilled and athletic goalie with a high IQ and significant big game experience. Curry's ability to track shooters, combined with his positioning skills and quick reflexes, makes it impossible to score on him from long distance. The way he pops off his line to make clean saves on perimeter shots is impressive. Curry's poise, fundamentally sound technique, and fast hands help him deny scoring chances around the crease. College coaches should love the way Curry can swiftly drop to deny a low shot and then scramble to his feet to get into position for a rebound attempt. Curry owns noteworthy speed and a relentless motor, so he will track down loose balls and win chases. Once Curry has the ball in his stick, he can leg it out himself or deliver a smart clearing pass. During his two years as a starter at Radnor, Curry helped the Raptors advance to back-to-back 3A state championship games. After the 2026 season, Curry was a 1st Team All-State selection. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Stahl is an extraordinary multi-sport athlete who is also a highly touted football prospect. On the lacrosse field, Stahl operates as a physically imposing and extraordinarily skilled close defender with a ferocious style. Stahl does a fantastic job of arriving early to ball carriers and then dictating play with his physicality or active stick. When he is on-ball, Stahl will harass an offensive prospect with powerful slaps as well as crafty pokes and lifts. He is also a master at executing can openers. Once the ball hits the turf, Stahl will use his positioning skills and aggressive stick work to secure possession. He will then dash to open space and smartly decide to either fire a clearing pass upfield or drop the ball back to a teammate. Stahl has repeatedly demonstrated that he has a full understanding of team defensive schemes too. His slides and doubles are always on point, and he owns tremendous instincts for when to leave his man to deliver a trail check on a ball carrier. During the 2026 high school season, Stahl was a starter for La Salle's 3A state championship team. </p>
