Palo Verde Runs Past Bishop Gorman in 19-7 Rout

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Las Vegas, NV</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Palo Verde and Bishop Gorman faced off for the second time this season on Friday night at The Crossings Park. While it was somewhat close early on, Palo began to find its rhythm—getting out in transition, moving the ball efficiently, and playing hard-nosed defense. That allowed them to control possession more than Gorman would have liked and opened the door to score in bunches. By halftime, it was 10–2, with Gorman looking a bit out of sorts on the defensive end. The game looked like it might shift in the second half, but Palo kept its foot on the gas and its offensive players' confidence was high. Heading into the fourth quarter, it was 15–6.
