This freshman is a menacing on-ball presence who puts relentless pressure on his opponent via his active stick and physicality. Lim's polished footwork and anticipation skills enable him to stay glued to a ball carrier for long stretches, or he can get into a ball carrier early in his dodge and dislodge the rock. Lim is especially adept at using can openers and overhead checks to put the ball on the ground. He is also a master at defending ball carriers 1v1 behind the net. His ability to lean on an opposing player initiating from X and keep that opponent from turning the corner is impressive. Additionally, Lim is a high-IQ team defender who executes slides and double teams effectively.

McCracken torches opponents with his size, insane change of direction moves, and nifty stick skills. Those assets allow McCracken to blow past his initial defender and then race into open space for a shot. On other runs, McCracken's cuts and spins combined with his slick stick maneuvers enable him to charge all the way to the crease for a dunk. McCracken can also play a physical brand of lacrosse by running through his defender and then firing on the move. McCracken is a legitimate perimeter shooting threat, too. He can find the net from deep via powerful overhand step-downs or sidearm rips. In the open field, this athletic and speedy midfielder can push the ball for goals or use his field vision to find an open teammate.

McGowan is a two-way midfielder who is an absolute bulldog at the defensive end. His high energy and tenacious style of SSDM make McGowan a suffocating on-ball defender. His speed and instincts enable him to relentlessly pursue offensive players on the perimeter. McGowan is a master at delivering timely crowbars, too. Once he has forced a turnover, McGowan will pounce on the ground ball and secure possession. His separation speed, toughness, and change-of-direction skills will then carry McGowan into the offensive end. McGowan'= thrives in transition where he can use his polished stick skills to score on the run or draw the defense and then distribute to an open teammate. McGowan is a legitimate scoring threat in settled action, too. As a bonus, McGowan is a plus player on the face-off wing with a knack for pulling contested GBs out of a crowd.

The first item that pops about Place is his dynamic stick skills that are well beyond his years. Place can operate with both hands, execute jaw-dropping finishes in close, ping corners from deep, and deliver creative dimes. Combine those ridiculous stick skills with his quick burst and elusive change of direction moves, and you get an offensive prospect who is impossible to stop 1v1. From up top, Place can dodge going down the left or right alley and then crank while on the run. He can also initiate from the wing, sweep across the opposing defense, slam on the brakes, and then roll back for a rip on the net. Plus, this high IQ prospect frequently executes well timed off ball cuts and slips that produce high percentage looks around the crease. Lastly, Place will surprise opponents with his ability to play through contact.

Strohl is an intriguing defensive prospect with remarkable length and power, noteworthy speed, and polished stick skills. That list of assets enables Strohl to have a significant impact at both ends. College coaches will love his dominating play in the middle third of the field. On defense, Strohl can cause turnovers by pressing out on ball carriers and then striking quickly with a slap, lift, or poke. Or Strohl can patiently pursue an opponent and wear him out with his physicality and heavy stick checks until he coughs up the rock. In both situations, once the ball hits the turf, Strohl's aggressive stick will vacuum up the GB. With the ball in his mesh, Strohl's long strides and ability to run through contact enable him to push the fast break. In transition, Strohl is a legitimate threat to go coast-to-coast for a goal.
