There's no shortage of Class of 2028 talent out West, which brings us back with Part II after Thursday's post highlighted five names we didn't get to during the fall and winter circuit.

A smooth operator out of the midfield, this lefty from Colorado boasts the kind of athleticism that allows him to separate from his matchup with relative ease. From there, Brown often uncorks a clean three-quarters release that's tough for goalies to track. Pairing a high lacrosse IQ with an assertive dodging style, he consistently gets to his spots and favors sweeping back to the middle of the field before unleashing his patented shot on the run. Praised by his coaches for making significant strides each season, his best lacrosse is clearly still ahead of him, and I'll be eager to check back in and track his continued development over the next eight months.

While he may be unassuming at first glance, Lee compensates for a lack of prototypical size with high-level athleticism and nonstop energy. A freshman starter for the Spartans, he earned First Team All-League honors after allowing fewer than six goals per game and stopping a hair over 60 percent of the shots he faced, then carried that momentum into the summer. In June, Lee picked up All-Star recognition at Maverik Showtime, closing things out with an unofficial six-save second half. He showcases sharp footwork, stays patient before the shot, and moves cleanly pipe-to-pipe. Like many undersized goalies, he's excellent on anything below the waist, but he's just as reliable tracking and snaring offside high looks.

McCurdy looks primed to become the fourth of his siblings to play a Division I sport, coming from a family full of football players. A standout on the gridiron himself, Reid brings that same physicality to the lacrosse field, pairing strong instincts with a disruptive edge. His linebacker mentality shows when he collapses on ball-carriers, routinely putting them on the turf. Lights out 1-on-1, he plays with steady footwork and a sturdy base that rarely gives ground, and his stick is consistently in the right position. Away from the ball, McCurdy stays man-conscious and checks every box with his fundamentally sound approach. Between McCurdy and Corner Canyon's [player_tooltip player_id='168128' first='Maddox' last='Green'] (whom we wrote up on Thursday), West Coast Starz has a strong 1–2 punch of Utah-bred defenders.

Both physically and skill-wise, Packard looks more like a polished upperclassman rather than a sophomore with three high school seasons still ahead of him. A bull in a china shop and the son of longtime St. Ignatius head coach Chris Packard, Hawkes is a true two-way midfielder that opponents must account for at all times, particularly when he's chugging up the field going from defense to offense. He's an advanced shooter on the run, pairing tremendous power with accuracy. As a dodger, Packard attacks the rack with force, capable of muscling past even the most physical defenders, and he's comfortable finishing from tight angles and under heavy pressure. He also excels at passing out of his dodges after drawing the eyes of the defense, making him a constant problem to contain.

Robison's blend of size (6-foot-3, 200 pounds), athleticism, face-off dominance, and ball skills makes him a true outlier at the position among '28s. As a freshman, he won 70 percent of his draws while adding 27 goals, frequently staying on the field to initiate offense and create matchup problems. Another All-Star at Maverik, he was especially imposing in the second half of the ASG, pushing forward at will and barreling toward the cage. Even when he doesn't win the initial clamp, Robison excels at scrapping his way back to possession and is a vacuum on first-time ground balls. He moves exceptionally well for his size, and while his comfort with the ball makes him an X-factor, he plays with discipline, knowing when to distribute and when to attack. Given how much he brings to the table, it's hard to envision him not becoming one of the most coveted face-off specialists in the class.

There's no shortage of Class of 2028 talent out West, which brings us back with Part II after Thursday's post highlighted five names we didn't get to during the fall and winter circuit.
