As the LVLA season approaches, expectations are beginning to form. Below are my early projections for the All-LVLA Second Team and the players who could make a serious push for those spots.

Attackmen

[player_tooltip player_id='171892' first='Mason' last='Mclay'] - Pirates Lacrosse - Strong attacker who is known for his physical doges and powerful shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='124923' first='Ryan' last='Cambeiro'] - Bishop Gorman - Catch and shoot from the wing specialist who has some range, and he has good field vision.

Seth Salinas - Palo Verde - Can bury tough shots in tight corners. Also has good off instincts and knows how to get in positions to score.

Middies

Liam Schulz - Faith Lutheran - Shifty midfielder who can burn defenders with his first and second steps. Also does a good job of feeding his teammates when he draws a slide.

Colton Segler - Bishop Gorman - I imagine he'll score quite a few goals this year for the Gaels due to his dodging skills and ability to score with both hands. Look for him to play some attack as well.

Ashton Bittner - Faith Lutheran - Has the wheels to get by defenders in the open field and also can dodge multiple spots. Not the type of player you want to let get inside either, as he'll put it away more times than not.

Defensemen

Euan Driscoll - Cougars Lacrosse - Driscoll will look to hound opponents this season on defense. He can apply steady ball pressure and throws swift checks.

Danny Richards - Palo Verde - Danny Richards keeps his head on a swivel, while also doing a good job of keeping his man in front of home.

Carter Jost - Palo Verde - I'd guess that we say Jost at both defense and LSM. He can clear the ball himself, and also gets in on loose ground balls often.

Goalie

Joseph Aragon - Palo Verde - The senior will be back in the net for the Panthers this year. His experience and skill should give them an advantage in close games.

LSM

[player_tooltip player_id='125267' first='Hudson' last='Pavicich'] - Faith Lutheran - I like Pavicich's ability to make an impact on both offense and defense. His 2 way play should help them control the pace a bit this season.

Faceoff

[player_tooltip player_id='171577' first='Brandon' last='Freitag'] - Palo Verde - Freitag will take a good amount of the draws for Palo and I think he should fare well thanks to his technique and strength.

SSDM

Bo Pippenger - Cougars Lacrosse - Pippenger impressed last season with his relentlessness. He likes to get after it on defense and can deliver strong checks in scrums to help his team win the rock.
