At roughly 6'1 and 205 pounds, he's a physical presence who understands how to use his frame to his advantage. Anderson is tough to knock off his line, routinely shrugging off defenders as he dodges. He also generates impressive power on his shots, putting his entire body behind the release. Giving them serious pop and making it difficult for goalies to pick up the ball in time.

CJ Laymon earned LVLA First-Team honors last season thanks to his physical, high-IQ defense. He regularly forces turnovers. Either with timely checks or by making his opponent feel uncomfortable and rushed. Laymon also has the speed to push the ball upfield and can ignite transition when he gets going. All in all, there is a lot to like about his game and he always plays with intensity.

Johnny Trumball did a solid job for the Crusaders last spring. He helps control possession, makes smart decisions with the ball, and uses his size to bully defenders while getting shots off on the run. On the defensive side, he's strong enough to disrupt opponents and win tough ground balls.

Zach Coneh is a two-way middie who makes an impact with his athleticism, instincts, and nonstop effort. He has the speed to get downhill on his dodges and can put shots on frame once he creates separation. Coneh also keeps his head up when carrying the rock, consistently finding shooters and delivering accurate feeds. Defensively, he brings the same intensity. Applying strong ball pressure and using quick checks to knock the ball loose.

I recently covered Aragon after his stellar performance against Westward. He's incredibly composed in the cage, never getting too high or too low. Which allows him to stay locked in and ready for the next save. That focus, combined with his clean mechanics, makes him a rock-solid last line of defense. Aragon is also an excellent passer and is helps keep his troops in order on defense. If you're a college coach and you haven't checked out his film yet, you absolutely should.
