Acevedo is a short stick with grit, swift lateral movements, and tremendous defensive instincts. That trifecta makes Acevedo a menacing on-ball defender. Acevedo also plays with extreme poise which is a tremendous asset when he is faced with defending the ball 1v1 in open space. His communication skills and high IQ enable Acevedo to excel as a team defender too. Thanks to his elite ground ball skills and speed, Acevedo can push the ball for transition opportunities. Once he enters the offensive zone, Acevedo is a threat to shoot or distribute while at a full sprint. But Acevedo has proven that he values possession s well. Thus, he will settle the ball rather than force a low percentage transition opportunity.

Althouse is a lefty sniper who recently gave his verbal commitment to Lehigh. He excels at cranking rockets into the back of the net from GLE as well as the wing. The combination of his rapid release and ability to shoot from multiple angles makes Althouse a goalie's worst nightmare. Althouse is also a serious threat to sweep across the top of the opposing defense and then fire a laser while on the run. Althouse's quick cuts and elusive stick maneuvers enable him to dip and dodge his way through traffic for scoring opportunities in close. As a bonus to his offensive skills, the Lehigh coaching staff will love that Althouse is a plus player on the ride. His non-stop motor and anticipation skills are the keys to the take aways Althouse causes against opposing poles.

Dzwolak is latest addition for a Richmond program that is stock piling elite recruits in the 2026 and 2027 classes. In 2025, this speedy, lefty attack with impressive size recorded 48 goals along with 33 assists and was a 1st Team All-Mid Atlantic Prep League selection. What pops immediately about Dzwolak is that he plays at an extremely fast pace. At times, he appears to have an extra gear that opposing defenders do not possess. A key to that extraordinary pace is his quick burst. Once Dzwolak has a step on the initial defender it is game over. His his speed and elusive moves will carry him past the remainder of the opposing defense to unleash a laser while on the run. Dzwolak is also a master a using a hitch move to setup his dips underneath a defender. While he is on the move, Dzwolak is a threat to shoot or distribute with either hand. The Richmond staff will also appreciate Dzwolak's elite shooting skills from GLE.

Back in September, I highlighted Hendricks as a prospect from South Jersey who college coaches should contact immediately. The Delaware coaching staff must have been reading this site, because recently Hendricks verbally committed to the Blue Hens program. Hendricks' combination of speed and elite stick skills makes him a threat to score from anywhere inside the restraining line. However, it is Hendricks' ability to score and feed from X that separates him from the pack of 2027 attack prospects. Hendricks can cook the initial defender with a split dodge or stutter step, accelerate and then turn the corner for a scoring opportunity in close. His deep bag of in-close finishing moves keeps goalies guessing. Hendricks can also initiate from X, drive up the hash and then unleash a wicked jump shot. As a distributor at X, Hendricks will wait patiently for a cutter to come open and then deliver a precise feed. Plus, Hendricks can dodge from X, draw the slide, and then hit the open teammate with a dime.

Holm is a two-way midfielder who recently committed to Rutgers. Offensively, this 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete excels at getting downhill in a hurry and then shooting or distributing on the run. Holm's size and nifty stick maneuvers enable him to run through significant contact as he attacks the cage. Additionally, Holm thrives in two-man game action as both a ball carrier and a screener. When Holm hustles back to play SSDM, the trifecta of his quick lateral movements, physicality and heavy stick checks make him an on-ball terror. Holm can create turnovers with finesse moves like well-timed lifts and pokes. But he has also mastered more physical turnover generators like crowbars and getting into dodgers early with a shoulder check. After Holm has created a turnover, he will snatch the GB and use his speed to lead a transition opportunity. Holm is also a high IQ team defender who seamless executes switches as well as recoveries and smoothly navigates his way around screens.
