In addition to their incredible skills, the one other thread that ties the below players together is that they are all the younger sibling of a former high school standout from Pennsylvania who now plays at a DI program.

After a solid freshman campaign at Hill School, Aquino burst onto the national recruiting scene this summer with an incredible stretch of play at Naptown. Aquino is an explosive midfielder with size and filthy stick skills. He excels on the fast break where he can run through or around defenders as he races towards the cage for a shot or to distribute to a teammate. When he decides to shoot, Aquino can fire from multiple angles and will not hesitate to unleash a nifty bouncer. Aquino is an extremely effective weapon in 6on6 action too. On those possessions he can cut loose powerful and accurate step-downs from deep. Or Aquino can use his quick first step and ability to run through stick checks to dodge from up top. Those same assets enable Aquino to initiate from the wing and sweep across the opposing defense for a shot on the run. Aquino also showed on those sweeps that he can get to the middle of the field, slam on the breaks and then rollback for a clean look.

This athletic and versatile pole owns tremendous two-way skills. Defensively, Halpert's speed, refined footwork and non-stop motor enable him to harass ball carriers on the perimeter for long stretches. Once that offensive player makes a mistake, Halpert will execute a timely stick check, lift, poke, body check or can opener that jars the ball lose. Halpert can also drop down and play close defense. In that spot Halpert's physicality on slides and double teams as well as his knack for clogging up passing lanes with his stick produces frequent turnovers. Halpert's ability to scoop up a GB and then push the ball in transition is impressive. With his high IQ and unselfish nature Halpert always makes the correct decision on whether to shoot or distribute on those breaks. Halpert is a plus player in the clearing game too.

The first two items that pop about Large is next level speed and incredible ground ball skills. Large's fleet footedness enables him be a menacing on ball presence in open space, lead transition opportunities and work as a one man clear. In the open field or in a crowd, Large will pounce on a GB and secure possession. Large's knack for scooping up GBs is a product of his quick reflexes, polished stick skills and nose for the ball. On the fast break, Large's speed and cutback abilities make him a threat to go coast-to-coast for a rip on net. Defensively, Large's active stick causes turnovers via strips and by disrupting passing lanes. Large is also a plus team defender who communicates with teammates and can navigate over or through screens.

VanBastelaar is an athletic, fast, and gritty two-way midfielder who will step into the spotlight for La Salle starting this fall. Offensively, vanBastelaar is a transition phenom. His ability to create a turnover, scoop up the GB and then race down field to create a scoring opportunity is remarkable. VanBastelaar's high IQ and poise with the ball combine to produce quality transition looks for his teams. In settled action, vanBastelaar can dodge from up top, the wing or from behind the cage. His attacking style and serious shake make vanBastelaar impossible to defend 1v1. VanBastelaar is a crafty two-man game player too. When vanBastelaar dops back, he operates as a sticky SSDM who can pursue ball carriers in the open field. Plus, vanBastelaar has a knack for pulling ground balls out a crowd.

This elite attack with a quick burst and shifty moves will be the No. 1 option at Radnor in 2025-26. Good news, during his junior year Goldstein posted 45 goals and 48 assists, so it appears he is ready to handle that promotion. Goldstein is wizard from the X-attack spot. He keeps opposing defenses off balance with his ability to score and distribute from behind the cage. His swift first step and change of direction moves enable Goldstein to lose his defender and then turn the corner for a goal in close. Goldstein's bag of stick fakes and polished footwork makes him impossible to stop around the crease. Goldstein also can come from X, drive up the field and then fire on the move from 10-15 yards out. When the defensive slide cuts off Goldstein's charges from X, he will smartly drop a dime to the backside or thread a pass to a cutting teammate. All these tools enable Goldstein to initiate from the wing too. Plus, Goldstein's timely off-ball movements produce high percentage catch and shoot opportunities.
