Getty is a quick twitch athlete with highly creative finishing skills. Those two assets combined with his high IQ enable Getty to thrive at GLE as well as from X. At GLE, Getty can receive a pass and then dip underneath his defender for a scoring opportunity in close. Or Getty will take a feed and immediately crank a shot from multiple angles. When he initiates from X, Getty's serious shake enables him to cook the on-ball defender and then streak around the corner for a dunk. His filthy toe-drag move is impossible to stop. Getty's field vision and precise passing make him an excellent feeder from X. This gritty attack also has a habit of turning loose balls and broken plays into goals. He is a natural righty, but Getty can score and distribute with either hand. Earlier this week Getty committed to Towson.

By securing a verbal from Gillis, the Notre Dame coaching staff proved once again that they can recruit Philadelphia as well as any program in the country. Gillis owns imposing size, amazing reflexes, and an active stick. His ability to track shooters leads to a high percentage of clean saves. Those clean stops allow Gillis to swiftly deliver a clearing pass to a streaking teammate. For his size, Gillis is extremely nimble. So, he has no problem stopping low shots or locating and then pouncing on rebounds. Gillis is an outstanding communicator too. As a bonus to all his goalie skills, what the Fighting Irish staff and fans will really love about Gillis is the poise and confidence he projects from between the pipes.

Over the last three years, the Drexel coaching staff has done a fantastic job of landing prospects from the Delaware Valley. This past week that trend continued when Messina verballed to Drexel. Messina is a native of Canada and has significant box lacrosse experience. Thus, his stick skills are filthy, and he excels at moving off the ball. Messina is a threat to fire lasers into the back of the net from anywhere in the offensive zone. He does a fantastic job of establishing that perimeter shot in each game. Then on a later possession he will receive a pass, execute a shot fake, followed by a face dodge and then dash to the cage for a finish in close. Messina's creative finishing skills keep net minders guessing. During his sophomore campaign Messina registered 49 goals and 18 assists.

This 4-star prospect recently committed to Harvard which means the Crimson have landed one of the most feared offensive threats in New Jersey's Class of 2027. The first item that pops about Thurber is his ability to play with either hand. Next on the list is Thurber's speed and refined footwork. That trifecta makes Thurber impossible to defend in 1v1 situations. Once Thurber has blown past the initial defender, he can score or distribute on the run. When Thurber is on the move and is looking to score, his deep bag of finishing moves eliminates any chance the opposing goalie has of making a save. Additionally, Thurber is smooth off-ball operator who smartly cuts into open space for quick catch and shoots. Last season Thurber tallied 52 points for the Hermits.

Earlier this week, Watson committed to Boston University. If you saw Watson play in 2025, you know exactly why the Terriers came strong for him during the first month of recruiting for 2027s. Last season Watson posted a save percentage of 57% and was a 1st Team All-MAPL as well as All-State selection. Watson is an extremely athletic goalie with cat-like reflexes. Those assets combined with his active hands enable Watson to cover the entire cage. Watson's ability to fire his hands and stick in all directions produces a high percentage of clean saves. Watson also excels at making low saves with his body or stick. Once the ball is in his possession, Watson will rapidly deliver an accurate clearing pass. With his athleticism and foot speed, Watson will not hesitate to push the ball up the field himself.
